3.0 N reg elite auto....
first prob, its missing, not all the time but usually when comin off a roundabout or from lights, (ive changed plugs) poss leads i think??
next, the positive leads on the battery seem to be getting very hot, not seen that before, any thoughts would be a great help..

try this mate could be code 19 cs sensor. have a look what you get for codes and let us know.
as for the temp might be thermostat or na air lock. do you have enough coolant in? when was the last time you flushed the system out could be dirt in it is the water pump ok?
normal is about half way on the clock. mine is m reg and it sits at 92 deg with very little change.

ok just checked codes and i got 19, 144, 73,135, just looked for what they are but couldnt make any sense coul you explain in easy terms please :)
also its not engine temp.. is the battery live terminal..

code 19 is crankshaft sensor. do that first theres a how to in the maintenance guide.
73 is mass air flow sensor ( air flow meter ) voltage low. could be your maf is fuba or needs the plug cleaned.
ignore the other two there not a prob yet.
do your cs sensor first and see if that clears the other codes, and clean the plug on the maf.
you might also get other tips from the other members as to your maf prob. but code 19 is the first thing you need to sort out as it could leave you stranded at some point.
