Title: Gearbox faults

 Hi folks ... had gearbox checked today and the following codes showed up :-

P1844 - Ignition/Injection Cutoff Circuit High Input
 (05) - Present

P1844 - Ignition/Injection Cutoff Circuit Incorrect Signal
 (08) - Present

P0730 - Gear Ratio Incorrect
 (08) - Intermittent

could anyone tell me what they mean and whether the box is knacked or repairable ???? :-/

The incorrect ratio is worrying, thats normally a sign of a worn box

Thanks .. managed to source a second hand box for £20 ... :y

was hoping not to need it ...sounds like it was a good idea to get it ... :y

hope the 2nd hand box is o,k as that was rather cheap :y

Tell me about it ... got it on a no reserve auction on ebay ... collecting it on Sunday .... here's hoping  ::)
