Title: self leveling shocks replacement

I just replaced the self leveling shocks on my Omega (2000 facelift 3.0 V6 Executive) today. I was wondering if it matters when I connect the air hoses to the shocks. I connected them with the shocks fully in.

I just want to make sure all is ok as these things aren't cheap :-) It does seem to me the car is riding higher at the moment. But it does ride a lot better then with the old leaking shocks.

IIRC the fitting instructions suggest you partially inflate the bag with an airline before fitting, it just save the compressor a little time & effort.  ;) ;) ;)

just fitted mine, connected the air lines and turned the ignition on to fill the bladders while listening for leaks. No problems here. Not saying thats correct though, but not sure what the air line thing does as the air will just escape out again, and they expand to full length on they're own anyway.
