sorry if this been asked before, did search but couldn't find anything.....heard a "ticking" inside the car and upon inspection noticed driver side manifold blowing(take it they related)...is this going to be just the gasket or are they prone to cracking(can i tell without taking it off) like on the vectras....also how easy is it to change....

hi mate ive got the same and its a common fault on the 2.0 the fault is the gasket blows at the front then the manifold warps and the two front studs break off
-
V6 manifolds don't often warp, probably just a gasket
Replace all the studs and nuts too, and make sure you use a multilayer steel gasket (Elring or GM) - NOT a composite one.
Been there, got the t-shirt (and scratched knuckles) ::)

I would say between 3-4 hours for a first timer.
