Title: Anyone used this K&N Filters on their miggy??

I came across an advert for K&N Air filters it said they can do upto  a million miles and can even boost perfomance of your car! Seems wild allegations to me.
Has anyone ever used this filter in their car?  Link  here

I seem to remember that most on here advise against using those filters on Omega's. Because they have some oil in them they can cause damage to a certain sensor. I'd assume it'd be the MAF but never took much notice as didn't want a k&n filter. Best to avoid and stick with genuine GM filters. GM filters have a large surface area, which is ideal...so stick with them :)

I had one on my 2.5TD and it was ok till I replaced it with a genuine GM filter. Wow what a difference, much better on the paper filter so I'd say forget it myself.

Yep, as above, standard air box with filter.
