Title: mayo in header tank

hi all.i have a 2001 2.6 mv6,i havent used it for a couple of months,just took it out for 20mins or so then looked to see if the water level was ok,noticed a lot of mayo ( cream)in the tank,it it head caskets?

thanks jimbob,ive read about some folks having heater probs with mayo but my heater seems to be ok

It won't be if you keep using it, get it sorted before you use it again :y

would it help to drain the system down?

You need to drain the system to replace the cooler and flush it through. As above, don't use it again until you get it fixed :y :y :y
