Not paired specifically with ECU etc, but needs to be compatible No's on any exchange pump. Something about older pumps on newer cars (or vice versa) not being compatible in some cases.

My pump is away being overhauled. Once I've re-fitted it I may send my spare away to get that done and put it up for sale.
D'ya mind me asking what price you've been offered ?

Don't know if the 2.2 is the same but I have just bought an Injector pump for that and as long as the part Nos were the same it would be OK

Numbers don't have to be the same, but they must be on the "compatible" list.  :y

A re-conditioned pump and fitting is around £1200.
I paid £120 for a 2nd hand pump off a '00 car, but on fitting I found that it also brought up Code 64. It runs ok with std chip, but when I fit my "full power" chip it has issues.
If you can confirm it has no faults and ideally supply a test certificate etc then I would say you could ask £350. I think having it bench tested costs around £70.

car run great before i took it of the road  :y
used to do the diesel magic trick a couple of times a year and always got a good very hard run up the motorway and back ( about 50 miles ) once a week to blow the crap out  :y :y

no ticket so about £200 ?? :-/

I just sold one off a R-reg Omega 2.5TD  for £120 but should have asked more, as I didn't realise how much work was involved in getting it off -and the job also cost me a £20 sprocket puller which I didn't have. Oh well, I'll know next time. Hopefully the customer is pleased though.
