Why do you want to unplug your heater pad?
-
serek - no codes for a faulty seat heater.
Which is which and best place to unplug - I don't want to be unplugging the tensioners!
andyb - the thread explains. The heater is on (lowish) when not required.
No codes displayed at the eml at all - well, other than "10".
Edit:- Meant to say, other than cont. flashing ("0")
Photo of what I see, two yellow (Pre-T & Airbag??) plus medium thickness brown & red plus thinner brown/s, black wrapped in the black tape/binding.
Where is the seat heater controller - I'll unplug that.
What on earth is the extra yellow lead with a yellow plug on it (3 wires terminated).

I wonder if you've a duff switch :-/ Your switching different from mine, mines is either on or off, but there was some kind of stat buried in the seat base foam.
Yellow wire ..... Vauxhall had the option of a kiddies seat in the front that could talk to the airbag system, MAYBE for that :-/ :-/ :-/

Right, the photo above doesn't show everything.
Pulled apart properly and I've this arrangement of plugs.
2x yellow leads, plugs and leads out plus a 3rd which I think we've decided is the ISOFIX.
Group of wires split into plugs as below.
Don't take this as corerct, I'm still confirming all of these.
This is a cdx - only electric seat height adjustment

So questions remain:-
Does this look correct
Are all SRS circuits yellow sheath and yellow plugs
Is 1a/2a correct or 1b/2b
What is the green plug (that I have with wires cut-off but see blue & brown)
The seat motor is correct (tested).
I'm assuming the heater is too (will tell later in the week) - hopefully won't get an SRS lamp staying on!!!! - as I've now disconnected it. If the seat warms now I'm stuck!

Right. Yes I forgot the switches are handed. You could have tried pulling the switch out, but you are sorted for now. A new switch has to be cheap off ebay, if I go to the scrappy I will keep my eyes open.

Agemo - you've not read my reply to your post. Switch is okay. In fact I've removed the switch! There must be a control module somewhere that has the stepped input from the switch - I suspect that is faulty and seeing either a high Z input gone a little low (faulty input cable) or a duff comparator (leaky).
