I've seen lots of people who have converted from auto Omega's to manual, I'm just wondering what it would be like the other way around.
I guess anything's possible - I suppose you would need:
1) Auto box!
2) Flex plate (and change spigot?)
3) Autobox ECU and associated wiring loom (Maybe indeed a whole new engine management loom - third round plug by battery)?
4) Different brake pedal
5) Different length prop? Not sure.
6) Tech2, to tell original engine ECU it's now Auto
7) Gear shift bits for inside car
Probably loads and loads more. It's not something I'm seriously considering for one minute, ('cos I enjoy a good manual box) - but I'd be interested on thoughts :)

A lot of work James, but doable - I was looking at this years ago as a fun project on something totally different, but didn't do anything as I knew the engine mods I would have done would have chewed the box up and killed it.
I was looking at 4 speed Borg Warner and a Rootes group estate

Hey! We can swap if you like, James?
Sounds like another weekend job! 3.2 manual. Hmm. :)

LOL there should be a law against even contemplating such a conversion :o
