Title: blowing fuses

can anyone help me , i recently purchased an elite 2.2dti.
fuse 15 keeps blowing within a matter ot minuites.
i cant get stereo sat nav or main computer to work.
had it on diagnostic and the only thing that came up was a didgy glow plug wire. thanxs

have you tried disconnecting one thing at a time on that fuse? i would start with the stereo myself :y

Is a ciggy lighter on the same circuit? They're favourite as a 5 pence piece is a really nice fit in there!  :-?  :-?  :y

Well if you have a dodgy wire mate it will more than likely be arking,which in turn will blow a fuse.

got the stereo working it was just a 10amp fuse that had gone. it a bose and sounds wicked. but still need to do further investigating for fuses blowing on dash illget there in the end. :D

Well if you have a dodgy wire mate it will more than likely be arking,which in turn will blow a fuse.

I also have the same problem currently (no pun intended) it will go weeks without a problem and then 3, 4, 5 times within 15mins Grrr.... it has even blown a 30amp and it seems to happen more often on hot days (or is that me being paranoid ?) any body got any real advice coz i'm at the 'cat kicking' level of frustration right now !

you'd need to look at wiring diags to see whats connected to that circuit.  If alarm is, power sounder is a favourite
