Title: Omega 2.0 Auto

Hi, i'm new to this so would really appreciate some help, my car keeps losing power when i take my foot off the accelerator, if i swithch the engine off and on again, its fine but as soon as i lift my foot of the pedal, there's nothing, it doesn't stall or cut out, there's just no goalmost like the clutch slips, thanks

have you got any codes stored,try doing the paper clip test.it might be a knackered crank sensor :y

I might be reading this wrong or am totally thick but isn't that suppose to happen when you lift your foot of the accelerator

So try the paperclip test and see if it throws any codes at you, here is the link.

Is or does your eml ( engine light ( looks like a wierd orange helicopter)) come on at all?
have you checked the plug wells for oil? ( not to sure with the 4cyl but worth a try.)
it is normal though that if you take your foot of the gas that nothing happens as you are then coasting.
but dont forget your car is a heavy one with nearly 1,7 tons (1700 kg) and the engine is only a baby for that weight, so it has to work overtime all the time.
Try the test and lets know if there is anything :y
