Title: Coolant Level warning Display
Post by: puffa on 11 September 2009, 19:44:27
About three days ago the mig started to display coolant level directly after the check brake when starting the car up each time, I have checked the coolant levels daily since and have also been checking the roads surface for coolant discharge, however nothing abnormal is happening, it is not running any hotter than normal but still displays coolant check directly after start up, it doesnt display it at any other time.

Has anyone else experienced this ?
Is there a sensor somewhere that could be faulty, if so where?

Sensor is integral to the coolant bottle :y

Is that the float type thing you can see through the fill cap hole, do you have to replace the entire tank to change it?

Check the sensor plug underneath is not intermittant / fallen off first.
