I hate to be the bearer of bad news but EPC is wrong! I had the same issue last year and ended up with the wrong part, 250 miles from home >:( >:( >:(

Good news is that the correct one, which is the p/n you quoted, is about half that price on TC :y :y  Give them a call tomorrow and get the correct one ordered in too, just in case ::) ::)

You're not that far from Andy @ Drive aren't you?

My spare 90540743 is in the boot! And that's the same as what Vx fitted years ago to mine.  ;)

(I'd only had the car a fortnight & I'd lost patience with the bl00dy thing & just got Vx 'to fix it!'  :-?)

I'd be putting my foot down with a very firm hand!!!!  :o
You give him the correct part number, he insists you are wrong & he's right, but as it turns out (as we all knew) he was wrong ..... and he won't give you your money back? I'd have a few choice words to say.  >:(  >:(  >:(
Unfortunately you haven't given him the chance to get the correct sensor in by buying another one from elsewhere.  :-/

he asked me to leave as i was getting a bit stroppy with him  :-X
i bought the right one from within the same company  just a different branch
will see what the parts manager says monday but i dont hold much hope
looking at the receipt it says down the bottom that specilly ordered parts and electrical items are non returnable   >:(
all he has to say is that is the part i ordered i have no witnesses to say otherwise :(

But he ordered it using your chassis number, and still got the wrong part. You gave him plenty of chances to get the correct item by giving him the correct part number.

Don't lose your rag... If you don't get anywhere go to the franchise manager. If that doesn't work, local press :y :y :y

He hasn't ordered the correct part for your can...... End of :y :y

He was told the part number, which he ignored, and ordered from Vauxhall's EPC... It's not your fault it's wrong
