hi i am wanting to upgrade my alloys to either 17" or 18" amy one have any ideas how thiss will affect the ride quality we dont want to loose the comfy ride thay the omega has ;D

what i have found is larger the wheel with lower profile tyre the harder the ride.i have 245x45x17 rears and 245x40x17 fronts, all fitted with contis sport 3 and i find they tramline quite a lot.As with lower profile tyres you stand more chance of buckling the wheel as my son found out on his 20" with 35 profiles.Large profile tyres also works as a shock absorber

When I put 17" late Elite alloys on my preface lift car I could tell the difference. The ride is slightly harder but not that it's too hard.
