Just had a new screen fitted (autoglass) but was asked yesterday when i initially rung them what colour tint my car had blue or green. I said it had a blue sun strip built in but they said NO not the sun strip but the whole screen so looking more green than blue i told them green, then they asked if it had aircon which it has so i said yes the end result is i now have a PURPLE tinted screen which aspparently is heat reflective (a solar screen)
How many different colours are there?

If you use satnav....you may now struggle for a signal, those reflective screens can cause issues.

I will have to try that jimbob cause i do have satnav and its sat on the fasia vents next to the digi display

NOT a built in satnav btw

not sure on all the options but have seen blue tints mine is green and also heat reflective which has a purple coating, looks like iridium if your familiar with that.
Afaik know upside of heat reflective screen is less sun light getting in keeping the car cooler, water seems to evaporate off quicker, on the one i test drove anyway, and has a slightly darker appearance to the screen which looks better with tints if you like that sort of thing.
Down side, as said sat nav signal cant get through to dash mounted devices. But someone said you can buy an aerial for your device.
