Title: mass air sensor

well its been diagnosed as the fault of my misfiring, disconnect it, it runs ok, soon as plug it back in it starts misfiring. do i need to renew it or can it be overhauled/repaired??

They aren't servicable Rich :( Cheap enough on eGay though ;)

never seen one repaired.. seems breakers are the way to go..

i forgot to take it from my other mig before i scrapped it, will try heathrow omega breakers. if anyone has the number, i cant find it  :-[

 Hi Rich,
           Glad you found the problem, have heard they can be spray cleaned if its the sensor that's the trouble :-/.

 Have you managed to have a look at the Auxs. belt tensioner yet?

 Did you get your tyre sorted?

took the sensor off, cant see whats wrong with it to be honest but made a diff when i unplugged it. aux belt tensioner i will do in morning as had few things to sort out as with the new tyre as well.

I've bought two off this guy (for 2 omegas!!) and so far so good.  Make him an offer - he will accept £34.

Hi just had same problem with mine but it never did that just slow at pick up, only did that when the air sensor in front of it little thing, the risister in it was lose so soldierd it back on went fine after that, or th mas my need cleaning if so the air filter may need changing. :y :y
