Title: Headlight earthing point
Post by: Boatboy on 19 September 2009, 13:03:53
Hi,

Can anyone confirm where the headlight earth point is before I start pulling things apart? I can see leads going to a stud beneath the battery but to get to it may require removing the battery and possibly top hose, or at least letting it cool.

I'm dropping half a volt between the negative terminal on the battery and the earth contact at the rear of the n/s light, so wanted to brighten up the earth to see if I can see some road at night.

Thanks in advance

Steve

the main earth is under the bat on left hand side comes of the bat. thats about it, the rest of the wires from the light is into the car fuse box under the steering wheel. :y what light do u have, as the old 1z lose there refletive after awile, mine were like that and had to get new 1z, so got some 2000 1z on a 95, well cool now. see road all ov it. :y :y :y
