I like the look of the facelift bumpers better than my prefacelift ones. Are theses a straight swap?? Has anyone done this swap?
-
I belieave it can be done. But it's not quiet that simple as swoping them over, as the facelift has the grill built into the bonnet, and the preface doesn't, so I think you'd have to change other items over as well. Though that's not to say it can't be done, just depends on if you want to go to a lot of trouble to change just the bumper ?.
If you go back a few pages, you'll see that other threads have covered this chap.
Hope it helps ?

Thanks mate. Its mainly the back bumper I want 2 do.

I think the rear bumper will be easier to swop, and pretty sure it'll swop without too much hassle compared to the front one, and if you have a look in the car parts for sale section, you may find someone breaking up a facelift near to you, or who's willing to post one. And may be able to advise you better.

The rear ones are more easily sourced for some reason, bear in mind if you are rigged up for towing, the bumper sticks out more.

Someone recently posted a similar query and was advised the rear would fit, but to ensure all the internal mountings and mouldings etc were also sourced.

make sure u get the lugs with it to fit to the shell. :y
