Title: Engine stutters under load

Help. My omega 2.0 has just started to stutter as if misfiring at around 2000 revs. The car shudders its way past this point then acts a bit normally. It ticks over fine i have no EML on the dash. Plugs where changed last weekend as the car had developed a slight stutter then but now its bad.

Try to paper clip your car and see if it comes up with any codes and post here  :y

well, if you dont find any codes as suggested, then having changed the plugs you'll need to check the leads and dis pac next. Any signs of damage to either, change it. But check for codes first as said.

Hello. Paper clipped car this morning. No flashes of the EML hence no codes. Thinking ht leads???

Think so. Thats where i'd start, then dis pac on the other end of the leads.

I changed the HT leads and guess what?  My Omega is back to life. Thanks to all who helped. :D
