Title: Dash lights

Hi all

Does anyone know what type of bulbs I need to replace the failed ones behind my speedo/rev counter........??

May as well do the lot of them whilst I am in there.....how many are there??

3w cup bulbs, bulbs solderd to the cap, mine has 3 big ones Part number p.12v w3w e20. but i have led's in. small ones are for the info, They are 12/1.2, (17 of these but some are not used) but you can get LED's for the same price.

from memory there is a pic in maintenance of the back of the clocks. Back lights are the large yellow holders, the bulb fits into them. Warning lights are the smaller ones. Worth a look. :-)

Rear of MID 1.2 or 2W soldered in holder

Yellow holders take the 3 or 5W capless (501`s)

So if i go to Vx tomrw and ask for p.12v w3w e20 bulbs I should be right?

If it`s the main ones that fit into the 4 yellow holders you can use sidelight bulbs. Called 501`s. Any motor spares/accessories will stock `em

You got an MID in yours, matey (sorry, dunno if the pre-facelift does or not!).
If so, do you have LEDs in that, and do they work OK?
I stuck some blue ones in mine and they just glowed green, even with the fader up full.
My MID is like the one in RobG's pics........

yep mine are blue and its blue on front as well, mine is the 2 screens, but it comes up in blue, also have blue lights in back of car so ppl in back dont have to keep putting the light on, dose me head in as can only see shadows when they put them on, :y
