Anyone used one of these in anger?
If i used one of these for 2 months, it would pay for itself, as i would not need to use the tube....

Read the small print.....its not road legal so only a toy.

Here in london the police have better things to worry about.... seen them being used on roads....

Your risk...I suspect there may be others that are more expensive and road legal but, they will require at least insurnace.

rather things

Cannot see the point at all. Can't use the on the road, or the pavement. Wouldn't want to if it were legal.
The only use I've observed for these things is that chavs seem to give them to their teenage kids to shut them up, and ignore the fact that they're being a total pain in the @rse to everyone except their parents. >:(
Besides, something with a mere 43cc is suitable only for strimming in my book ;)

not feeling the love for them... but mighty tempting for summer use!

I reckon you'd be better with a bicycle myself. More stable and probably faster with a moderate amount of effort. Can stop when you want to as well, without using your forehead as a brake pad ;)

I'd go along with the strimmer as well!
You need a proper 2w machine ;D ;D

Something else that should be banned off the roads also, they ride around, no insurance, knocking off door mirrors, riding side by side, go through red traffic lights, dont give a to"s for anyone but themselves, riding around in their licra tight shorts with their pointy hats on, rather Pillocks.

But mine looks cool hanging from my garage ceiling. (Nearly died of exhaustion last time I tried to ride it though) ::)

I had great fun filming a local tosser riding around on one last summer...I gave the tape (yeah I know, old technology) to the Police. They charged him for riding without insurance or a licence.
He was on it again a couple of weeks later, so I pushed him off. That felt good.

Shortcut to jail, if you hurt/injure someone or damage an expensive car in the process....
Needs ALL things that a real motorbike would, ie type approval, insurance, MOT, number plates, crash helmets etc - and thats not including the minutae of headlights, side lights, indicators, brake lights, reflectors, etc etc.
Agree, police probably have more to do with their time than chase you but, be assured, if you injure or kill someone, remember the alternate uses of toothpaste when locked up....... :-* :'(
