Title: Front springs prices?
Post by: mathewst on 20 October 2009, 13:08:16
Looks like I'll need to change front springs.
Which to buy, how much money is this going to cost me?
Also how many hours the garage needs to change them?
Looked a little through ebay and cannot get a normal info anywhere.
On some it's stated that springs are the same for facelift and prefacelift, on others it's stated that facelift is different???
Car is saloon facelift 2.2
Please help guys, thanks!

Why do you need to replace them? snapped or gone soft?

If you do a search, you'll find a post where some kind soul lists all of the Omega spring types, with part numbers and prices from Vx.

Spring change (both sides) is less than 1 hour if you have the right tools, and actually know what you are doing.

As for price, you shouldn't be paying any more than £40 per corner including the VAT.
