Hi all,
I am the proud owner of an T reg 2.0 16v Omega GLS, however when i purchased the car it has a fault light on the dashboard indication that there is an issue with the gearbox.
The car generally drives fine, however it is quite slow to pull away and I have no kick down, also the lights next to my drive options will not light up and I am unable to use the sports button.
A friend of my suggested that the fuse may have gone, so we changed that and it worked for about a day and blew again.
Any help would be greatly appreciated as I am such a novice.
Many thanks :y

I think a peek at the selector switch for the gearbox might reveal something ...
I'm sure someone more knowledgeable will definitely bring some insight here ;) :y

The box will be in get you home mode and will be in 3rd gear permenantly until fault is fixed nothing else will work i.e no sport mode/kick down/winter mode.

selector switch as mentioned i would guess, access from under car pass side of gear box.

i have same problem ,,My transmission is not shifting automatically. The automatic gearboc check light is flashing as well. It will shift If I shift it into low gear then up shift as I accelerate. If I don't do this it seams like it is trying to take off in 3rd gear and accelerates very slow.
.Selector switch , all solenoid valves ,ATF oil spark plugs, head gasket changed but still same..
Disconnected sport switch and winter mode switch and checked ...No result..

Do you have any gear indicator lights by the gear lever? Sounds like the box is mechanically sound if its all fine changing manually.
Electronic issue somewhere, needs tech 2 and a skilled operator to diagnose before spending any more cash. May be difficult given your location?

Yes gear indicators are working and showing the correct gears.Sport switch-winter mode and kick down ,these are not working too.i think its electronic problem. This is left hand drive ,where located transmission control modul ?
i prepared 5 liter gas , final will be wonderfull :)
