As you will probably gather from reading this thread i'm no computer guru, my question is howcome
some photos in the gallery forum come up straight away and do not appear to be linked to photobucket or similar ?

It's to do with the use of the [IMG] Tag. If you surround your url with this tag, (making sure the last one is a closing tag with a / )

Then it will display the pic.

Also, if the pics sometimes don't display at all, just a red x in the corner it's because they're probably hosted on a crap server, like mine, and the site is down. Good old Hosting-Unlimited.

Gettin' that changed this week though.  ::)

The day they pulled the plug on us, my blood was boiling  >:( - I nearly drove to Lincoln to rip his rather head off  >:(  >:(
