On the back of my Elite it has leaking self levelling shocks, can these be repaired or has anyone on here got any for sale?

There are a lot of posts on here on this subject - quite a few in last month. I left my leaking for ages and just replaced them - what a positive difference it made given the better ride it now gives. I did not realsie how much it used to move about before as I had got used to it.
The cost is around £70 plus VAT for each unit with fitting on top if you have a Trade Club card - otherwise it is about £140 per unit. You should use VX parts not sure you have an option on self levellers.

Thanks Guys, so they can't be repaired then shit. Is there any suppliers you can recommend as the vauxhall main dealer want £114 +vat each?

Join autobahnstormers and get yourself a trade card. It'll cost you £20 and you'll save many times that in a year on consumable items. The secretary at Autobahnstormers is very good, the card will be with you by return of post (obviously there is another potential snag in that statement at the moment!)

I got a pair from Vx last year for 152.46 inc vat with trade club discount. As far as I know only Vauxhall sell them but it may be worth while asking Autovaux. Alternatively you could convert it to normal suspension as I wish I had done now as the self levelling suspension is only needed if you regularly carry heavy loads or tow a caravan :)
