Title: Pagid Brake pads, any good?
Post by: Big_Roger on 06 November 2009, 18:26:25
Hi,
Although I don't need any replacements yet, I have been offered a set (front and rear) of Pagid brake pads.

Supposed to be very good, but I've never heard of them.

Are they any good, any one know anything about them?

Roger

Only available for rear axle. Fits the ATE caliper. With yours being the 3.2 with vented rear discs not sure whether they`d fit. http://www.pagid-brake-pads.co.uk/product-list.php?md=226

That link only applies to uprated pads. Pagid also do OE spec and thats probably what you're being offered. In my opinion Pagid are excellent and would have no hesitation in fitting them to my Omega. BTW I had some uprated Pagid discs and brake pads on my Carlton GSI 24v (essentially the same brakes as on the Omega) and they were the best brakes I've ever had hence my recommendation :y

Pagid brakes fitted to Plod cars - stop very well, no fade.

I've heard good things about Pagid pads. Doesn't mean that they don't also make rubbish ones, of course.
