My mate at my local garage has a meega2.5 V6(auto) on a V plate which keeps cutting out when it comes to a halt like stopping at traffic lights etc.
He done both clip test and on computer both came up with code 19 incorrect rpm signal.
he has replaced the crank sensor with the two types that are listed. no differance any ideas.
cheers John

clean the ICV and breathers.
a 19 wont go immediately on replacing a crank sensor, so dont ignore that code either. a not present code can stay stored for some time, but does show up on paperclip test, clear with a computer if you can)
replace with a genuine vauxhall one (if thats not whats been done already)

CLEAN the idle valve d breathers though.....V6 ICV's are as a rule trouble free!
