so yes, crank sensor

my tractors starting & running ok, can i expect it to nack up, & where is the crank sensor situated. ? :y
-
i'm sure the crank sensor job is a front end off job correct me if i'm wrong though :-/.
Try putting a 6mm earth direct from battery to ecu and see if it runs any better.
-
if it is the sensor, it can be done from underneath, but easier to remove intake and starter...
-
i had the intake & starter off last weekend could i have disturb something.
-
crank sensor is just the starter motor aND FIDDLING AROUND doing starter IT MAY BE POSSIBLE TO KNOCK THE CONNECTOR although it does have a clip you have to push to release it, more likely that you have leant or levered against it without knowing and damaged or dislodged the connection
