Hey folks my heaters seem to have went, it blows cold air nearly 24/7 only a small amount of heat, an i do mean very small an it only last 4 a few seconds, any ideas?? :y

try disconnecting the hoses that enter the bulkhead, then flush and reverse flush the heater matrix (hose pipe just pushes on to the conenctors)

Don't be misled by the ease with which water flows through the matrix using a hosepipe. The coolant pump has very little ability to overcome a restriction in the core.
Try connecting a length of pipe to one stub, leave the other stub open and blow down the pipe. If you feel a resistance the matrix is probably choked. Don't swallow anything!
Changing the core is not an easy job.
After I replaced mine I tried compressed air through the old one, that cleared out some debris, seemingly without damaging the matrix.
If you're feeling brave......, but make sure both stubs are disconnected.

Is that with ir running in Eco mode, or with the compressor running? Or both?

Before doing anything set the climate control to HI and see if you now get hot air. If you do it could be a problem with the sampler fan in the cabin.

Whar about vacuum to the heater by-pass valve. I don't know which way round it works ie does vacuum give heat or not heat? :-/

ok just an update i've flushed the water system an nota little bit of difference!! Next up take out heater matrix:-(

check that & clean, also check that the vac pipe is still connected to the hbv. i wouldnt go ripping the matrix out just yet. its not a nice job. ;)
