haynes book of lies says pull off with pliers, but the replacement is clearly threaded. Can you advise on best way to remove the valve stem seals as i am a bit stuck! Thanks!

Lol, there not threaded, they have rubber lip seals inside.
You can get a tool to remove them which is basicaly a long set of pliers

Remove them like teeth, a few twists than pull

Apply the spring compressor.
Magnetise a small screwdriver.
Get a valve collet and place a dab of grease on the inner radius, place it on the end of the magnetised screw driver.
Dab the collet in place, the grease will make it stick, you can then move it round the valve stem making room for the next one.

One you get the hang of it its pretty easy.
