Title: front armrest handle repair?
Post by: mathewst on 19 November 2009, 14:32:08
The handle on my front armrest is broken.
It was broken since I bought the car.
I still have the handle and thought onl it can be changed. This seems not to be the case.
Has anyone had this problem and managed to solve it without changing the whole centre part of the armrest(change the lid, just repair the handle mechanism somehow etc)?

How is it broken exactly?

Gravity will keep the lid down so I assume the handle has come off and is stuck shut???  :-?

Plastic with small holes in which pins for holding the handle go is broken.
Lid can be opened normally, but I would like this damn handle repaired cause it looks ugly now with the handle off.

Just confirm which bit is broken, is it the actual lid?  I have the tray part in working order if it's of any use to you.    ::)

The problem with the whole thing is that I'm in Mediteranean coast Chris so postage would probably be enormous. Lid works, except the upper handle which is broken anf not there anymore
