Title: engine light just came on.

 :'(  hi all i got a 53 estate 2.2 auto  and my eml light just came on ,can i still check the codes by a paperclip test to find the fault ,
 the car runs ok still and not in limp mode ! need to sort this out asap .thanks .mick  :y :y

Unfortunately no, you need to get the codes read. You have an tech2 enabled admin very nearby so check http://theboy.omegaowners.com for details ;)

thanks , need it sorting big time ,  :y  been alright all week decide to go out for the weekend and the bloody light comes on , can u believe it . >:(
