Title: No Heat
Post by: RobG on 26 November 2009, 14:16:01
New HBV fitted, system flushed, no air locks. Can`t get any heat just freezing cold air.Matrix pipes are cold. If I leave engine idling for half hour with climate switched off the temp gauge will only rise to 80 deg max.
Is it the thermostat and if so is it main dealer only :question

Are the main radiator hoses warm before the temp gauge moves? If so then the thermostat is stuck open. Any (decent) motor factors can supply them :y

I have to say though, no heat would not be the stat!

I assume the pipes to the bypass valve are connected the right way round
