Most likely cause is a busted heater element in the seat base or back.
If you have fabric seats replacing element pads is not such a big job,but if leather ,different matter .
Plenty of write ups on how to check and replace..my money is on the elements in seat, but you can check with a meter for current continuity

Take back plastic cover from seat to reveal the inside of the back..you will find a connecter which joins the back to the base elements as they are wired together.
Check to see if power is getting to both ..if not then you have found which element has the break in it ..then you can decide if it is worth tyhe trouble of pulling all to pieces...I would imagine the break is on the base pad ,as they tend to get knelt and trod on by small feeted people. It is possible to repair the break with a soldering iron/patience and a bit of luck.
