Not allowed. UK number plates have two letters at the start denoting where the car was registered followed by two numbers showing the date of registration and then three unique letters.

German number plates would not be allowed on a UK car.

Hope this helps.  :y

Current new plates require to be made of a retro reflective material so, no, not deemed legal.

However, if vehicle is old enough to legally use white letters/figs on black plates (pre 01/01/1973) then can be internal illumination.  Seen a number of old buses with this in years gone by.  No doubt some of the old Routemasters in London (if still running) will also have this.....

Is there not a small light at the top of the number plate in the middle

Interesting.. my 97 TVR has a back lit plate - it sits over a hollow inside which are two bulbs which shine through the plate. Have to have special plates made of translucent material to do it, dont see why a self illuminating plate would be that much different....

I don't think it spells that.  :P  Have another look. You may be trilingual but one of them clearly isn't English.  ;D ;D ;D

No it's not. A sentence has to have a verb and yours doesn't unless is says, ' Martin Raint is awake'

Try again Mr Puniverse.  :P
