Title: Recirculating Flap not working
Post by: robson on 06 December 2009, 13:14:34
I believe that my recirculating flap on the blower is not functioning .When I press the switch it lights up but I hear no movement.Could  it be a relay or solenoid problem.or a linkage dropped off?  Any help would be appreciated.

I took out the glove box, the solinoid and acctuator are behind it but it seams the supply comes from behind the heater control panel, which is a center dash strip down. I had to do this some months back to replace the bulbs behind the control panel, took a while to do, got it back togeather and reilised the vacuum pipes had come off and had no heating control so had to strip it all down to put the pipes back on, was not happy.

Glove box is not to difficult to get out, I dont have a passenger air bag so for me its open both doors undo 6 screws on the front then take the side vent off and there ars 3 screws holding the side, then it comes forward and out, disconecting the wires fore the light. There is a guide on the forum on how to do it with pics. :y
