Title: low coolant level
Post by: Lee A on 14 December 2009, 18:14:30
So the low coolant level warning came on tonight, checked the car out and level is normal, so this mean a new coolant bottle or can you replace the sensor seperately?

Any ideas on costs?

Cheers!

No new bottle, there not that expensive from Vx.

Mine come on recently, turned out the previous owner shorted out the plug with a paper clip and pvc tape, so new paper clip for me, a bit cheaper, well at least untill I need a flush, then I'll do it.

Also check the sensor float is not jamed, ie it moves up and down.
