Hi
my 2.5 v6 elite is a bugger to start  and sometimes needs to be jump started  it takes that long to get going

does this sound like the crank sensor playing up?

There are conflicting reports on the reliability of the crank sensor code. Most people claim that a faulty sensor always brings up code 19.

My very early 2.5 V6 suffered a total crank sensor failure but didn't bring up code 19.

What it did do was leave the warning light illuminated while the engine was cranking, fitted a new one and the light goes out immediately the engine turns over.
