Post by: pscocoa on 23 December 2009, 10:59:27
Did not find this code in maintenence guides section for 3.2 full text according to VX is

P1625 (2) NP Internal Power Control Final Stage Low input.

They had not seen this before and decided it was cold weather!!

Any advice?

Why does this happen when my wife is driving - suppose first advice is stop her driving it.

Found it, its a gearbox error...

Final stage diagnosis in control unit
Short to voltage in circuit to control unit terminal 52, 5
Above condition must be fulfilled for at least 0.02 s .
Effect:

"Emergency Mode" is activated
The malfunction indication is switched on.
Concerned Terminals:
52, 5

not especially useful....

Thanks for that - eml light came on following clunk from gearbox as she was emerging from patch of ice.

EML light now off and codes cleared.

It has to do 1000 miles next week so fingers crossed.
