Title: Sports Pack !
Post by: duggs on 24 December 2009, 00:59:00
What exactly WAS the optional Sports Pack as I think my recently purchased Elite has got it...ONLY because I compared her with a MV6 and both cars are riding at the same height...so I'm assuming I have the MV6/Sports Pack suspension at least...either that or my springs are up the creek ?? :o :o :o

What exactly did you get with said SP..

My Elite always seems to sit low at the front compared with oyher similar cars. I 've not lowered it, can't say for previous owners though.  :-/

My Elite is low at the front also.  I do have a receipt in the history from Courtenay Sports for 'front suspension components' only mentioning Bilstein.  I know Bilstein are a manufacturer of certain 'performance' components, but I cant be sure as to *what* components have been fitted as I've only owned the car for a few hours lol.

am i right in thinking only later mv6 where lowered? if so it would depend if the mv6 was “lowered sports chassis” or not???

As far as i understandit, the MV6 was factory fitted with the lowered sports chassis - its what it was for, ultimately....

Is it not also true that Ex Police vehicles had suspension upgrades as well?

'Police spec' was MV6 suspension from the factory....

My tractor (Elite) sat slightly lower than what the MV6 used to.

I thought the sports pack included the sports seats?

I read that the facelifts could have the sports pack as a payable option when ordering new.

My Elite's ride height matches a friends MV6 to the mm, front and rear. ! Hense my question. Got normal leather seats though...
