Title: where is 1999 pollen filter located?

Hi all,

anyone know where i can find the pollen filter and how to go about exchanging it please.

Open the flap on the passenger side of the skuttle, you'll see a white (well it should be) filter clipped in. While you're in there check the drain at the bottom is clear :y

its on the pass side in the engine bay pull the rubber up on that side there is a lip pull up and should see it there there is a clip on the top lift up and pull out the filter, can get a filter from halfords but some time it will have to be orderd. :y

Have a look here ...... http://www.omegaowners.com/forum/YaBB.pl?num=1167524083 Although this guide is for the scuttle drain, the filter is in the same place, and a clearout/check of the drain probably wouldn't go amiss.  :y  :y

ok looked under flap and found the filter which is exposed and black, should there be a cover overe it? or does it just clip into each side, seems like a removable cover to protect filter is missing to me.

anyone ble to let me have a picky of their pollen filter setup.

no it just clips on, pre-facelift filters should be white, so i guess it needs a change  ;D

hi tunnie so to confrim it just drops in place and all that holds it is the outer strip edges, and leaves the one side of the filter total exposed.

Yes, its just held in by clips, the filter forms a seal, leaving on side exposed, thats it job to filter out all outside cr@p. Should be changed every 2 years (?) i belive  :)

many thanks will get a new one, niece in law woorks for a motor factors so i get loads of discount lol,

just ordered my omegaowners.com rear window sticker, hurry up postie wanna get it fitted lol
