Title: interior light query
Post by: Steve Webb on 29 December 2009, 16:57:51
Hi guys... sorry to bombard with questions all the time but i figure if i just put all the little niggly queries i have i can get them out of the way as soon as.

when i open the door the interior light next to the rear view mirror comes on (it seems to be split into two lights and they both come on) but when i i press the buttons to switch them on when the doors shut only the drivers side light comes on and the passenger side interior light doesnt respond to the button at all.

i first thought it was the bulb but it cant be otherwise it wouldnt work when the doors are open.

any idea anyone? :)

cheers.

Interior and map reading bulbs are different.

They're not if you have a CCRT700 radio & a mic in the courtesy lap!  ;)  ;)  ;)  ;)

As the OP's profile states he has a CD I assumed it unlikely he has a CCRT700 and more likely the festoon/2 map bulb setup ;) :y
