Hi!
Does anybody repalced the breather body on V6?What kind of sealant should use it exactlyfor replace? - some Loctite stuff or some factory offered thing..?

blue rubber seal can get it in black drys like an O ring. £2.99p comes in a tube.

if you mean the breather box behind cylinder 5, it is the same sealent used for the oil cooler cover plate, grey in colour, from a dealer.

Instant Gasket from Halfords @£2.99. Works every time and is even used by VX cos I found a part empty tube under the bonnet of a m8s that hasd just had its breather sustem cleaned out. Cost him an arm and a leg for not listening to advice. bet he does it himself next time. My tip! Cut the applicator nozzle as small as you can and pipe a bead of it where it is required onto a clean and dry surface. Allow it to dry off and then join parts.
Another type I have used and can recommend is Hylomar Blue. It never sets and remains as a semihard joint that is easy to remove. It is impervious to water, all oils and fuels. It is cleaned off usually using cellulose thinners.

Thanks for help - and I hope the cleaning of breather system will solve my oil consumption problems too.

dont see any reason why you would not use the correct stuff myself. But then i have a tube of it in the garage.
