Title: gear ratio's

currently running a r25 box on a 3 ltr
is there any difference between the two boxes ?  ( ratio wise )
is so, what sort of difference in performance  / economy can i expect ?

would think it wont be long before it goes bang tbh think its got less clutches than the ar35

As mentioned....I think you can expect an explosion of said gear box any day now. The 25 isn't man enough for the 3 litre.

How come "she's" ended up like that ?

I suspect it will be fine as this is the manual box we are talking about.

the 2.5 v6 went bang last september  >:(
with what little dosh i had at the time, i had a choice, try and repair the 2.5 or put a 3ltr in there for what should have been the same money.                considering the amout off sh*t that has gone on with the engine ( money spent on it since ) and the person i bought it off  >:( >:( >:(    it was a bad choice  :( :(

oh and the 2.5 clutch had only done 1500 miles 

i may be wrong here but isn't the r25 rated at 250 nm torque max ?
i can't see a 3ltr v6 reaching that  :-/
