Title: fuel guzzling

hi guys id like to say hi to all as im a newbee i look foward to getting to know a few of you!

i have an omega 2.6 elite on a 51 plate and need your help if poss!

for some reason its drinking petrol more than an alcholic on a bender..... its averaging 15.3mpg ive had a few of these cars before but they have never been that bad its staedy driving too..

ive looked for leaks and cant find any at all

any suggestions?

run on a tec2 and moniter the engine running.

Do you know when it was last serviced? All vehicles I have are always better after a good service.
I assume it's an automatic? Is this town driving, or a mixture?

Simple one to answer....is the temp gauge getting upto a reasonable temperature in a reasonable time?

hi fella thank you for the reply ive checked the air filter looks new it was only serviced 950 miles ago

Hi & welcome mate. You have to factor in the prevailing weather & driving conditions as they will have a major impact on MPG just now. :y
