Title: Fitting a fan belt

Today i took off my fan belt but now i cant get it back on as i forgot to look how it was fitted so does anyone a have pic of how its fitted

Clockwise, crank - tensioner - alternator - pas - a/c - crank

Ok this might be me being thick but whats the best way to get the belt on as iv tryed and cant get it on

wrap it around in the correct order, leave the tensioner till last, line it up so its almost ready to go on, then push back the tension and slip the belt on.

Watch the crank pully as it tends not to sit right first go

No.

On my V6 I use a 15mm socket and a breaker bar on the tensioner retaining nut to push it back.

How did you take it off? :-/

No, i said push back on the tension. Its 15mm spring loaded

Belt on now and what a pain in the ass it is too do too. ;D
