Please can anyone shed some light on how to change the language on the mid of a 2001 3.2 elite, many thanks Gary.

It is an ncdx variant display with sat nav  type.

yeah but that can be a GID (Graphic Info Display) or CID (Colour Info Display)

GIDs are easily swappable, but CIDs are not (very expensive and need pairing with tech2)

GID must come from same spec car (if not, needs adjusting with tech2), guide on removing dash in maint section :y

:-? He doesn`t want to swap it Tunnie :D OP you should be able to access the settings menu and change it.

I guess it is a GID type as it is deffo not a CID, for some reason my dads car has started to display warnigs in German. The owners book does not appear to say how to change the language. ::)

Yeah, its in Settings option in BC menu.

It defaults to German after disconnection.  Possible to set English as the default, but for some reason, this was never done at the factory

As far as i know jamie it has not been disconnected or the battery removed either, but having said that i dont know what my old man gets up too most of the time, and i suspect he dont know either. ;D
