Title: Quick Autobox Question
Post by: 2cvman on 18 January 2010, 21:48:35
Just tryed to check the oil level on my 2001 2.6 auto, Is the filler/level hole on the rear sump on the drivers side at the top near the gearbox casting. I cannot find anything on the gearbox itself, also do I check the level with the engine running in neutral. Thanks

Drivers side on side of gearbox - you need a 13mm socket to undo.

Thanks dbug but I cannot find anything on the gearbox but there is a 13mm bolt on the side of rear sump right up by the joint were it meets the gearbox casting.
