Hi Guys
Probably not the best time of the year to be considering this job but....
N/S/F bumper has been scrapped quite a few times and I'm looking at rubbing down and respraying do I need to do any prepping to the plastic before appyling the primer and how many coats should I apply?
Any advice appreciated.

Ok, rub al scuffed are with 400 wet n dry, if some of the scratches are too deep, ie, still visible when you get down to the plastic, you'll have to give it a skim of filler, allow filler to go off, smooth with 400 wet n dry, then 800 wet n dry to lose 400 scratches, once you're happy that ypu can't feel any edges and it's all smooth, go over all the repair area with a grey scotch pad, wipe down and make sure it'ss all clean n dry, spray with a light coat of plastic adhesion promoter, this will help paint stick to bumper, dry off with hot air gun, then apply couple coats of primer, dry off with hot air gun keeping it moving all the time, flat primer with 1500 wet n dry, scotch pad all area again, clean and dry off, wipe area with tac rag, and paint. need any more info pm me, good luck with it, Ray.
