Title: 2.2 in limp mode

 my mate has problem with the gearbox is in limp mode his son spilt juice on the gear selector he's replaced the ecu,selector switch and all the other gubbings its still in limp mode. will it need to be tech 2 its the 2.2 auto petrol

You'd need to get the gearbox codes read, but a lot of the cheaper code readers can't read the gearbox codes (my Sealey VS8700 can).
